Drive It Day

What a great day out it was here in Central Scotland, perfect weather for a very scenic drive followed by a very nice lunch. We were even joined by a celebrity in his traction, 25 cars in total.

On the way home we stopped at Balloch for tea and cake.

On photo four was that the back rd between Drymen and Gartmore dose look like it I spent lots of my youth racing them lanes in escorts but my favourite car I ever owned was a hillman Avenger tiger wished I had that car today left it half way up a tree on that rd mental no airbags abs just you’re wits and a decent set of cebies.?

Well spotted! Still see some Avenger Tigers at the Moffat car show every June.
 
When we were going to visit Malcolm’s uncle there was a lot of old cars going past and there was a few there that we use to have,love the old cars!
