I have Remus blinds.
I have Remus blinds.
Scrappie/Breaker's Yard, Kev? There is a former Dealership on another Forum that claims to be about the fun of motorhoming [Brian & Chrissy/Chrissie, IIRC] who has developed a sideline 3D Printing all sorts of M/Home accessories, water tank caps/spouts, modified engine bay drainage to stop the older models pouring water over the inner wings and rotting them etc. I have a very hazy recollection that he made a cup holder that was very reasonably pricedNo suggestions?
I'm an ex-member too, Kev, so can relate to your comments! But I thought a search for the 3D Printing couple might be a solution!I'll never go on there again Steve, a bunch of unpleasant so far up their collective backsides IMHO, it was the first forum i joined asked questions but very little response very cliquey, so I went onto Facts and it was like night and day, its changed a lot on there since though a lot have gone over to the dark side which is fun NOT.
Because Brian is a former Dealership Technician, his 3D Printed stuff tends to work first time. I don't know how long he takes to develop the design file, but the stuff he makes does tend to evoke a 'Why didn't Fiat think of doing that?' reactions. If he has a Cupholder [and I am going from memory], he may be able/willing to modify the design so that you can place the cupholder in a safer location! Again, from memory, I'm sure he's made modifications to suit individual requirements. For the external water caps, he asks that you measure the external diameter [and there is a screen drawing of where you take the measurement] so that the cap fits first time.Sorry Steve, my dismissevnespence was accidental, my mind forked of altogether, 3D printing is brilliant if you have a good design and a decent machine, I nearly bought one last year but drawing in 3 dimensions is beyond my intellect, I struggle moving in 3D most of the time.
Then there is where and how do I mount it, I'm okay with wimmin and bikes.
The last 2 photos 'sell' it, Kev, On its own, it looks pig ugly, but when the holder is latched onto the vent grilles, it looks both elegant and functionalSimple is best I just searched Ebay and this popped up, might just be the very jobbie.
I just need to check that they are not in the way getting in and out.

Hmm, could you post a picture of yours in place?I have one of these on my 2010 Ducato drivers side vent grill. I put a screw through into the dash so it could not pop out unexpectedly. Works fine for me
