I suppose you could screw this one (mine) to the facia directly above the vent instead of below to avoid Liz's knee... a small wedge between dash and holder would help keep the holder as vertical as possible too.

I just ordered that one to see if it works it looks to be 3d printed if it is I'll send it back as it looks poor quality and I'll make my own out of a suitable container and a bit of flat plastic strip and super glue.

I just bought a stainless steel one that fits over center glove box. Curves around with the dash.bad bit is it only takes the tapered cups.
Not fitted it yet as still in the process of changing the fridge over to a compressor one. I'll take a photo in the daylight.

Too low for me, I made one for the self build and you have to take your eyes off the road for too long, mind you you're not supposed to drink or eat when driving, there have been prosecutions in the past.
