Dumbing it down

I want the comforts Annie, just not the electrics, gas, pumps etc. that go with them.

My first van was a Citroen Dispatch with a roof tent on it. I had a loo inside the van, and a tarp to go over the back doors to shower under. All cooking was done on camping stoves or a Cobb BBQ.

It really was no hardship.

I must admit I do miss camping with the basics it was a lot more fun and it would give me an excuse to use my frontier stove I still carry it around with me but not had the opportunity to use it for a while.

Sounds like our first VW campervan. You’ll just need a trailer to tow the wood burner and logs though.
