Seriously Ffion, as difficult as it might be, it's maybe wise not to invest too much of your life/travel/emotions in someone who just might not stay around. I'm really happy for you that your partner decided to continue the journey with you. Having someone to travel and share things with is bliss, especially for your first trip overseas as a single woman but try to use the opportunity to build up your knowledge and confidence, so that you're much better equipped to go it alone if/when the time comes. There are so many wonderful people in this and the WC community - both solo travellers and couples - who would be happy to meet up and share adventures, both here and abroad. Many of our amazing solo women regularly head off to Europe for the winter alone but always report back that they met up and travelled with this person or that couple and had a great time. This blip with your partner has at least given you a heads-up to assess what you need to do or learn to successfully go it alone... even if you don't really want to. You can do it! Good luck m'dear and enjoy each and every minute
