E bike adding a thumb throttle

Anyone fitted a thumb throttle to a e bike hybrid
The bike has never had one and I have one to fit there are three wires red,black and green
Much appreciated any info here's a pic of said cycle

Any unconnected cable connectors near the control panel?

There is usually a spare connector near the head set to plug into Gordon well there is on mine.

Not seen any yet going to strip it fight down this week
This has never had a throttle on it but will delve when grandkids go home this week

On the conversion kits the thumb throttle plugs into the motor controller..try looking on eBay for ebike motor controller there are some with wiring info in the photos.
