Efoy fuel cell

I’ll let you know how I get on means I can get away from solar option gonna stick in two extra batteries witch I’ve already got and then look at an invertor initial set up costs quite high but Im planning on keeping van maybe 5 to 7 years so will get some use out of it. But think my grandchildren will have to use it to fully get moneys worth lol
 
Great technology and very clever, just a bit to expensive for me. If I could justify the cost I would get one they are great.
 
It arrived today and it’s realy quite compact and light I’ve been talking to a friend on another forum who has had one for about a year he said his was running for about four or five month and it hardly used any fuel and he forgot it was there it was so quiet. Just to fit it now I’ll report back after I’ve used it for a while
 
You need to put an outlet on the van so you can connect it to other vans, who have low batteries and then charge by the hour to recharge there batteries.
This might make a small dent in your out lay.
 
Much smaller than I though, the fuel container will be nearly as big as it.

I’ve had lawnmower engines and all sorts of crap on that work bench that the wife calls her dining table

What about running costs ?

I don’t suppose you will know yet how long will those two 5 litres of fuel will last you

my concern would be it says its highly flammable yet only in thin plastic containers like concentrated orange squash



 
There made in Germany I’ve a friend who had been running one for about 8 months on the same container of fuel and he said it’s been switched on for that whole time he’s in Portugal right now and on a hook up most of the time but don’t think that it would give the same as a genny or240 hook up think it’s all about the size and the low noise. The and portability are also factors I plan on two or maybe three 110 batteries with an invertor and the efoy running on the background charging batteries. I always have van on a hook up at house so batteries should be full when leaving and only use efoy when not on hook up so fuel consumption should be minimal. Expensive back up but my biggest problem when camping always seems to be power consumption.
 
They've been around for long time now, IMHO if they were any good, they would be much cheaper, and we'd all have one as back up, maybe the converters would even build them in.
 
If I was buying a new van to keep for a few years or if I had room for one. It would be a serious consideration for me. Nothing else does what they do 24 / 7 . and should be a end to 99% of peoples electricity problems.

Diamonds have been around for along time but has every woman got one? ?Think you’ll find it’s the cost of the hydrogen cell inside that makes them so expensive ?
