Hi,

Does anyone know where to mount a bike rack on the rear wall please, this is a 2018 model and does not come with manufactured mounting point on the rear.

Elddis are not very help full, any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

This is normally a factory-fitted accessory, not something Elddis will help you with.
Most large dealerships, like Brownhills in Newark, will gladly fit one on your Elddis .... but this can be expensive.

Hope I've helped.

Could you work it out from these?

If you are anywhere near Teeside airport the Elddis dealers is Cleveland Motorhomes have a good workshop who could fit it for you.

I've not tried this myself, but I would think you could use a stud finder to locate any prepared mounting points?

If you put a sheet of quality plywood inside and use large washers, then almost anywhere would be ok, the further apart the better.
Look a bit ugly though!
On the rear of my Motorhome, the four fixing points on the rear have corresponding mounts on the inside with covers to hide the washers and nuts. I'd imagine a bike rack kit would come with those?

A bit slow there David.

On the inside, no one would see it, and even then, it could be painted to match the interior.

The owners and users of the motorhome would see it for a start. Nah, not for me.

Bit slow? I replied before the OP has even made a second post, so quick enough :D
