And today we have ventured further south again, we are only about an hour away from Spain, still very warm 32 degrees,but thunderstorms are expected tonight and tomorrow, can't you tell Gordon has arrived

We had a look at that Ken, but because of the thunderstorms forecast for the next few days, I think it is time to cross the border, I know were there is a huge lake with a lovely Aires not too far over the border , Shhhhh

that’s in plans for a weeks time couple of days pause after roaring through france i’ve arranged some cooler weather for driving in lol

Today we are now in northern Spain, just north of Vitoria Gastezis, another one of our favourite places just on the outskirts of a huge national park with a lake and beaches, a relaxed and quiet place just the way we like them

Arrived in Burgos, on the official aire, there must be at least 50 van's on the aire and the overflow car park,,we have come for the market that is supposed to be on tomorrow but can't find any information about it, so we could be moving to another aire at Tardajos only 10 minutes away from here

Yes, that is the one Ken, we will hang around this area for a while as the forecast for later next week is back up in the 30s, so will get the chair's out and soak up the rays for a few days

Capbreton is a fab spot just north of Spanish border on SW coast of France

Well what a night, we was awaken by a barking dog just behind us in a allotment, the dog never stopped barking all night, so we got very little sleep as did the 6 other vans that was staying overnight, 9.00am this morning we made the decision to move 20 minutes up the road to a lovely village called Santa Maria del campo, and found a fantastic Aires, parking on your own hardstanding section, spotless with water and waste facilities and yes completely free, what a find

i did wonder whether that bloody dog was still there lol, i'm in the que for the ferry just behind SMC hardly any cars just campers & motorhomes
