Yes, it’s great on a nice day but involves a bit of shuffling to get at it and put it away. Last year it was not running well, but it’s a pleasure to drive now, with a new carb, coil, plugs and ht leads. Must get it out when next home, I try not to use it when there’s salting on the roads.

No, it’s been on 123 electronic ignition for about 20 years now. No distributor, just sparks away on both.

I would rather have points over electricery any day,i used to carry a coils condenser and points plus r arm and cap with me so i could always get home,try that with magic box which can be expensive.

The 123 has worked faultlessly for at least 20 years, never heard of one failing.

Ah, where's the fun in that??? Lol.

Makes much more sense to have a good electronic substitute
