Fiat Ducato 2007 Vibration

I had a vibration on our old Y reg Boxer at about 55mph. After ruling out wheels, tyres and bearings I was stumped.
Driving at 55mph I could pass through the vibration at 60mph. It was only when I had the chance to freewheel (gearbox in neutral) downhill I found that passing through the 55mph speed I had no vibration. This confirmed it was a "driven" vibration. Turns out is was the inner CV joint of the driveshafts, two new shafts fitted and all cured.

The opinion of a Spanish tyre fitter, is the vibration is being caused by the tread pattern on the rear tyres.
I think this could be Spanish for “I can’t be asked “
I have Michelin 3peaks front and rear.

I’ll try a different seating position, to try and rule out a pinched nerve. The van would be due a service and MOT shortly after my return to the UK. Perhaps we can get it sorted then.
