fingers crossed

Your crystal ball has been working overtime again Ken. BBC News at 0900 this morning confirms, travel to/ through France is now permitted.
On a side note. I’m a bit confused as to what Covid test is required to travel. The NHS one, or one you need to buy in?

Just get a Portsmouth -Santander ferry NOW as we did. Enjoying the dream (in Spain). Just keep checking BF's web site every hour and if you haven't got a dog you could be on your way.

Covid tests. For some reason NHS tests are not acceptable. So a Fit to Fly test is required. At a fee.

i believe the lateral flow test verified by suitable agency works cost about £25 take test upload negative test & passport picture within 4 hours online verification is issued , will find if that is still good enough tomorrow morning

This will be another first for me Ken. Let me know how it works please

Lee Fiona is asking wot crossing you doing etc can you emlighten so I can get some frgn p&q
and what will OUR weather be at that time there?

Have a look at the weather for Punta Umbria Spain or Pomarao Portugal, it will give you an idea of the weather but I always say it's a lot like summer here but with more blue skies and and less rain, it can get windy in some parts of Spain.
As far as clothes you need shorts, long trousers and lots of layers rather than winter clothes.
The drive through France can be cold and wet but as Ken has said it gets warmer the further you go south.
I hope this helps.
