France Belgium germany poland..

You are proposing a long journey through multiple countries. Personally, I always buy DK Eyewitness guides for each country, because they are superb for travellers who like to create their own personal route preference using the regional photos, architectural diagrams, and city highlight walking routes. I love their their concise "must see" lists, and cherry pick what appeals to me.

I hang on to the guides and paper maps as they are a reminder of those travels many years later. 😀

You must have a big library at home then🤣🤣

It's not nearly big enough! 🤣🤣

As a child I was always encouraged to read, and did the same for our sons, but have had limited success with the grandchildren.

Another vote for the DK eyewitness books, although we have only experienced France and Spain, so no advice offered.

Thanks Davy, I would have missed so much in Poland without the DK Eyewitness guide. They are quite exceptional.
