Just for the drive wheels I believe. I just bought a new pair off Ebay which suited my wheel size. It was a few years ago now and I haven't used them yet. I also bought a set of these as well which another member mentioned the other year...

Snow socks work in a way that they are automatically and perfectly centered on the tyre after a very short period of use. A higher adherence between the inside surface of the textile and the tyre, so as to avoid any slippage between sheath and wheel.

Just be aware that the ties, while possibly useful, do not meet the French legal requirement (3PMSF tyres on all wheels or metal chains or textile socks on at least the driving wheels).Just for the drive wheels I believe.
