Free MOT Reminder (Official)

You can now sign up for an MOT reminder (text or email) from the Government.
I recommend you sign up for your vehicle before somebody else does, as it appears that no checks are in place to make sure you are signing up for a vehicle you actually own.

I've signed up for this, and it looks great.

Somebody on 'another site' said that they had signed up for it though, and then they failed to send the reminders!

It is a new service (still in Beta); are you sure it was this official one they used?

Hopefully, as I said, teething problems. May be worth watching for any other complaints about it though.
