Sorry Fridays fish and chips night has been cancelled, but Thursday pie night and Sunday lunch is still as planned, I have been informed that there is a fixh and chip shop 15 minutes Walk away

The Stone Trough at Kelbrook have Fish Friday until 5.00pm. You get fish chips and peas twice for £12.00 a bargain and the bus from Barlick stops outside. I've booked a table for 4.00pm.

I am sorry to say that I have been laid low by some sort of lurgy. Its probably just an upper respiritary virus but it has left me with no voice above a breathy whisper (laringytus??). At any rate it does not seem wise for me to come along to the meet today.

Any one traveling on the A59 just passed Gisburn the road has been closed due to a serious RTA, so you can't get to Barnoldswick the usual way, apparently two air ambulances and numerous emergency vehicles are in attendance.
