I have only ever used a cup of soapy water and a 2 inch paint brush. While not everyone's ideal, I love my safefill tanks, OK, a PITA for some to remove their tank from locker, once removed, tank is remote from your vehicle, less issues with residual gas when removed from fill nozzle. I also carry a spray tin of this stuff, I've used this brand for decades when swapping over welding gas tanks, also used while delivering H&S safe use of Oxy-Acetylene and the numerous joints from the valve down to the gas torch, any leaks, this stuff will bubble up. When I return my newly filled safefil tank to locker, all joints within the lockers are given a copious spray at joints.
I also use spray at the manifold within the MH with the various pipe for cooker, fridge and heater and boiler. Tin is available on Amazon.

That’s an RAF way to detect leaks.I have only ever used a cup of soapy water and a 2 inch paint brush.
Like painting soapy water on all the joints if there was a leak it would start bubbling.
The gas blew it out that was the same time as the Moho blew upOut?
Surely not? Soapy water + oxygen= boom??Where's the fuel for the explosion? If a bit of fairy liquid contained that much power our energy issues would be overThat’s an RAF way to detect leaks.
Not that you are likely to do so, using your RAF method on an oxygen bottle and there there is a leak, KAAABOOOOM, and goodnight![]()

Oh aye, surely yes! Wash up liquid may, or does contain hydrocarbon ingredients, possible animal fats, which is taboo anywhere near enriched oxygen.Surely not? That’s exactly why the NCC is a waste of time. What Baysview says is correct.Read the gas section. Your find it an eye opener

I’m beginning to wonder if the “gas leak” was a result of the blowback from the gun onto my sweater. And the reason it had cleared up on Saturday, was because I’d changed my clothes.
If so, it’s another embarrassing Trotter **** up
