Grey Waste Emptying

The only proviso for letting the grey waste drain, would be to make sure you get as much food off of cutlery, crockery and cooking pans as possible with paper towels. Not that the food waste would harm anything, but we have seen some outlets with flies, wasps and other bugs around them on the floor where the water drops. Food waste is like a luxury dinner to bugs and they don't have to chase it! Better, if you don't scrape, empty it away from habitations.
Yes, I guess I should have mentioned that, I wipe everything off with kitchen roll

That is a brilliant comedy song, and performed beautifully. I remember the lyrics from BBC Radio 'Family Favourites' and 'Children's Favourites' [later Junior Choice IIRC] broadcasts. Up there with 'Hello Muddah, hello Fadah', Bob Newhart's 'The Driving Instructor' and 'Introducing Tobacco to Civilisation', Flanders & Swann's 'The Gasman Cometh' and Stanley Holloway reciting Marriott Edgar's Albert and the Lion' and 'Sam, Sam, Pick up thy Musket' ... I had to use a camp in the Forest site in the New Forest IT WAS NOT ALLOWED to drop the east water on the sandy soil as they claim it polluted the soil for the animals, there was a drop hole behind the shower block and impossible to bring it near enough. That place is not as they were, it is now £30 to park on a concrete pad just inside the site and that was it. Never again.

We paid £10pn in the New Forest in Sep 2023 in Lyndhurst and had a great time. Grey water collected in a collapsible bucket and carried over to the fenced fresh/grey/elsan facilities became part of the 10k steps per day routine

We use a lot of CL/CS sites and the majority ask you to dump or pipe the grey water into the hedge. One even supplied a Colapz filter to help clean up the water. They are usually very clear that they do not want it in with the chemical waste.
