Guess what

It's a finger from an agricultural grass mowing machine. Circa 1940 to 1960. The knife was a series of pointed blades around 6 feet in length. It rode back and forth from a cam mechanism supported on a series of around about 20 of those finger guides. Albion were one of the main manufacturers.
Commonly called a Hayter grass cutter?
 
Hi it's a finger from a bar mower, the same was used in the old horse drawn mower or the old Massey Ferguson tractor mower. I remember changing them in summer time, they had a habit of falling off.
