Hab Check/Maintenance Needs Advice Please, for Refillable Gas System (Fridge & Water Heater)

I think from what Steve is saying he is getting it while using the van when moving around between sites, so after a few hours. I do know there is a problem with some new fridges but I don’t think Steve’s is new. Well new compared to mine but not brand new lol
Correct, Neil. When the Refillable system was installed 13 months ago, John, the Fitter, had to wait for about 20 seconds for the gas to reach the fridge, but the hob (directly above the bottles ...) lit in 2 or 3 seconds. Ever since, either when switching the fridge over to gas when arriving on site, or after a lpg refill, even when burning all 3 hob burners until there is a steady blue flame, the 3 to 5 seconds 'click click' hunting takes place whenever the fridge needs gas.

The only thing that I can add is that the main lpg gas cylinder ran right out at the Stafford Meet, and we actually started on the 2nd cylinder. I assumed that I would get 22-25 litres of gas to refill both cylinders, but it would take only 19.71 litres across both cylinders. This made me wonder if an airlock was present. Same with this week's gas refill, 2nd cylinder started but the refill of both stopped at 19.12 litres, despite the first bottle being completely empty!

Ambient temperature affects how much gas you can put in the bottles Steve.

Ambient meant 35 to 40 degrees on the last refill, Neil! The refill at Walsall, after Stafford Rally was a much cooler 30 degrees ... 🙄 These physics things are lost on me; my Physics Master at Grammar School 53 years ago told me not to take the subject at O Level, 'because you'd be wasting the Examiner's time'. Not great motivation, but an accurate assessment!

We had a Gaslow Refillable LPG (2 x 11kg bottles) fitted 13 months ago at Auto Leisure in Thirsk. Works well, except for a 3-5 seconds delay with the fridge igniter clicking away, until the gas reaches the fridge. It sounds as air is trapped somewhere in the system, and I cannot clear it, even keeping the fridge turned off whilst I ignite all 3 hob burners for 20 to 30 seconds, checking that the hob burners are producing pure blue flames before I start the fridge

We have had 2 lengthy trips to France and Spain over the last 4 months (almost 150 days) and have been using lpg for fridge and cooking, plus occasional heating during this time. Truma say to have the gas system checked and cleaned 'more regularly' if the gas system is being used so often.

My questions are: 1. Will a hab check sort the problems out, or just point out the air blockage?
2. Would it be better to replace the Hab Check with a specific gas system check, including a trace of the apparent air pocket and clearance thereof, followed by a Truma system check and a removal of flue soot and debris well before the planned Winter trip to Spain and finding out on the first chilly night that the heating system needs attention!

3. Any other thoughts or interventions suggested? All advice appreciated!

I have the gaslow system fitted at auto gas in Thirsk 4yrs ago. No probs generally but did have a prob recently with hot water not staying on. Had a good blow thro of all vents and Crossburn caravans in Peebles fixed.
