Are you going to the east pier in Tarbert? if the fash urnay bitein, drive doon the Camiltin rd through Tarbet aboot wan n a hawf mile when you see west loch hotel turn right the old pier is there to stop over night, fresh water tap and makeral fish at the end of the pier and some nice seatroot to be had and if your realy lucky the odd salmon swimin up the loch n doon the loch lookin fir the river entry

Thanks Jim your bang on about the old pier fished there a few times caught a few nice fish there if it’s the same place there’s usually an old trawler or a shrimp boat tied up at the weekends.
