Hi Guys & Gals
Just had a problem with my hab door. Bessecar 2013. E769. Would not open from outside. On investigation was a small cast lever had snapped. Wider investigation revealed no spares available from anywhere - but resulted in a man from Germany Who engineered the new part from Billet aluminium.
Scared at first to contact as he is one man band soto speak. Glad I did not cheap €83 but well worth it. For anyone with same problems contact details are Manfred Bischoff. manfred_bischoff@web.de

To anyone who says ‘that’s too much!’ Just tell them to make it cheaper. That is a substantial piece of metal. However did you find him?

Cast iron and cast steel is weldable, so is cast alloy, however, with the latter, this depends on grade of alloy.

The new machined alloy part looks the biz and IMO, not expensive.

Pure luck after 5 days of going through other forums and facebook groups. His name came up on one post. And with a new door in the ££££. Had to try.
