Have you named your van

We had a couple of Vw camper vans , the first was a splitty and then we bought a bay window, these were just called the "The V Duv" then we bought a Merc 308 and did a conversion this was called "Sadie", then we bought an Iveco lwb and converted this into a camper van and this was called "Vicky, and the van we have now is a Chausson welcome 76 and this is called "Charlie Chausson, I dont have a different name other than the one from my parents as up to date Marjorie hasnt been able to convert me.:Smiling_Face_with_H:Sunglasses_Emoji:

I think every van deserves a name :) When my husband was alive ours was just called the van. We toyed with Rocky, because it's a boxer, but it didn't feel right for some reason, so didn't stick. After a while on my own, the van felt much more girlie, so she's called Birdie... we fly together.
I grew up with my Dad calling me Birdie but it could have been worse... he also called me Toots and Fairy Elephant :Flushed_Face_Emoji:
 
Snoopy was called Snoopy because he started life as a children's charity bus and had snoopy booster seats in the parcel racks and snoopy tags on the seat covers we put a giant snoopy decal on the bonnet and he became very well known

and and here he is going off traveling Europe with the lovely Tony and Rik from Australia who bought him I miss him. My new van is Snoopy 2 got the decal just not put it on yet.
 
We named our van MAX or to give it it's full name, MAXIMUS. Reasons are, Favourite film Gladiator, the van is an Ace Napoli, the reg starts with MX, the guy who made our drive bigger to fit Max was called Max!! and a mate of mine said we must have maxed out our credit card to buy a van so it only seemed right to call it MAX!! It does just get called The Van a lot though!! :Tears_of_Joy_Emoji::Tears_of_Joy_Emoji:
 
Mine is called Clarence, for reasons that should be obvious to anyone in the mid-50's or '60s ....

called my last one rommel because it was german and went all over europe the new one is also german but is unamed as yet

Old Lil ( series 2 Landrover)
Rolf (Male name) the Golf
Scooby (a Scooby of course)
Charlie (Male name again) the Challenger
