Heater problems.

I have a Rapido 986f with the Fiat dashboard, my heater switch seems to have packed up any ideas how to remove the dash trim to get at it.
Looks like I might be able to take the radio out and the ashtray out to get to it according to another on line site just wondered if anyone has tried. :Very_sad:
 
some one should come along and confirm this but i think there is a resistor that is in the side of the heater might be worth looking into

What trouble are you having Electrical fan not working or air outlet selector ?


if its the air outlet selector i.e. you cant change air flow to windscreen or floor etc :-

Have you recently had a service where the heater filter was changed? (Pollen filter ?)


long time ago when i had a FIAT camper they badly fitted a new filter in the heater matrix under the dash and it jammed the mechanism

It is the fan speed switchnot working, the switch used to work if you tapped it but now stopped completely, you can hear the fan working but on very low revs.
