Another lovely meet at one of my fave places….lovely to see everyone again even though it was cut short with me having to get to hospt to see the old man, bless him. Thank you all for you concern and good wishes, it wasn’t a really bad migraine it was a bleed on the brain, caused by some annoying little malformation that he most likely has had for a long time, and the combination of low platelet levels from the methotrexate he has for inflammatory arthritis and a bit of high blood pressure probably caused it. He was let out yesterday and I had an 18hr reprieve to come and collect the bits and pieces I’d left, oh and also enjoy the quiz and good company!! He was back for MRI this morning and it will be digitally sent to the neurosurgery team at Stoke to be discussed. He’s really well in himself thankfully, just a bit shocked!! I’m off to find my old nurses uniform and chivy the old bugger about and check his pressure areas!!!!! See y’all soon!!!
