Hereford Rowing Club Summer Bank Holiday

We’re home safe and sound! Thanks to everyone involved for another great meet. We Couldn’t have asked for better weather. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we’re worn out but look forward to coming again next year. We Need more time to look around this lovely city. Sad it’s the last meet for us this year!

I’m home too.
Had a really enjoyable weekend with good friends.
Visited numerous pubs in Hereford.
Shame about the neighbours having no respect for their neighbours…lighting a barbecue with no warning…
Good of them NOT to give a warning to close my van doors before deciding in order to avoid the smoke in their van before wafting the smoke into my van.
Apart from this…I had a good weekend despite the excessive heat.
Returned home a day early due to the heat and the smell of barbecue smoke lingering in my van..
Will I attend again?
Debatable.

Many thanks to Linda, Lee and all the helpers for another great meet in Hereford. Found two or three new pubs I'd not been in before. It amazes me that there are so many nice pubs in Hereford. Looking forward to next time already.

Thanks to Lee and Linda for getting us some good weather and organising everything. Met loads of friends old and new with plenty of remanicing around Annie's at night. Shame about the noise from another group but we've all been kids at sometime.

Big thanks to another well organized meet by Lee and Linda. Hereford always comes good with loads to offer. Great walks and pubs and a very handy club house. A wonderful week of great weather. Home now safe and sound ordering curtain hooks and and replacement parts off eBay to repair the damage done by the Rottweiler Dynamite Dave who I left in the van for the first time while I went up to eat fish and chips on the Friday evening. The fish and chips was £8.50, the damage still pricing it up. Was still a great meet though and nice to see everyone.

A great big thank you to Lee and Linda, Trotter et al for the organising and running of this meet. Hereford is always a good meet....city centre so handy. Lovely to meet up with our mates again....and make new ones. The weather helped as well....too hot sometimes!!!!! Thank you all so much for the company.
