How do you keep your floor clean in van

Ours is the same Neil her undercarriage gets soaked as she is that low to the ground
It was the Schitzu thought she could walk on water Gordon, so funny to watch :)

As they do neil mines has been like a leach to me with the fireworks ,
Ha ha, I had gone to bed last night, both dogs on there with me and a load of fireworks went up, talk about stomped in delicate places ha ha ha

In our last van we had an external shower hose that we set to warm and was brilliant. She loved being washed with it, even through the winter.

Sadly, she left us earlier this year, but if Yvonne chooses to have another I'd install a similar shower unit in a flash.

We have a home made external water point but cold only

Like that Rec... I do love a bright and cheerful 'welcome' mat when I clamber back in from the rain

Doesn't show the dirt as much either! Tried some cheaper versions but the dirt does not seem to come off as easily!

Took out the carpets in the area near the door a, kitchen and bathroom and used absorbent machine washable mats. Cut one up to fit in the stepwell so that it does not hurt the feet when getting into the Moho without shoes.

Ours came with cream removable carpets that we leave down all year, we have a cordless dyson that does a good job of cleaning it then once a year (summer time) I just clean it with the carpet cleaner

Ha ha Jeanette at wiping paws. They stay fairly low to the floor even when fully grown so when they have a run in the grass, beach wherever they tend to get wet and/or mucky at least half way up. One of our went running at the water thinking it was a puddle yesterday and did a very graceful curve to get back when she was over half way under :)

Neil I wipe her feet in the house because she comes inside in some states especially her “undercarriage” as soon as she sees me getting a sheet of kitchen paper she knows,Malcolm just shakes his head! haha she loves water especially water from the hosepipe! That would have been funny to see Neil,

No carpets for us just a doormat and runner. If it’s wet a towel helps just inside the door. Got Ron trained but the cat is a rule unto herself ???

No shoes, no dogs and definitely no children in the van ;) I've even done away with hair. The only thing we suffer is sock fluff and Mrs F's hair, plus whatever we drop (usually crumbs from cheese and biscuits).

We have a cheapo 12v plug in 'dustbuster' that sucks up most bits when we're away. The carpets lift out and go in the house when we're home for a good going over with the Dyson. We also have automotive rather than domestic carpet which is more forgiving and hard wearing.

We have a "Dirt Grabber" door mat just inside the door. These are available in two sizes from B&M Stores (regular at £4.99 and large at £6.99 -- other colours are available!) So our entry routine is wipe feet on mat in entrance step then wipe feet on Dirt Grabber mat unless we're on a really muddy pitch, in which case it's shoes off at the door. A stiff broom once a day and a GTech Multi once a week does the rest.
