How do you prepare your van for the winter?

I put my snow boots, snow chains and snow shovel bak in the van.

I do go out in the winter but keep an eye on the weather forecast and always get hard standing where possible,I dont fancy getting stuck in the snow as mine is rubbish in bad weather conditions.

I dumped my fresh and grey yesterday, and checked the battery levels.

Thicker jumper and anorak, together with wellingtons.

Most important of all, checked the red wine fluid levels.

I take mine to Spain where none of this is, usually, necessary. ?️

I changed the bedding to fluffy teddy fleece quilt covers and put in warmers clothes Baileys for the coffee.

Change to a winter duvet, carry small shovel and salt, put vent covers on. Little heater to prevent frost when not in use. That’s about it really.

Always have a shovel, add duvet jackets and warm hats and gloves, replace fridge vent covers, empty water if we are not going anywhere and a cold snap is forecast. Our cheapo duvet seems to be ok winter and summer.

Drain all the tanks , top up the batteries , put in warm blankets for our bed and also for the dogs basket , make sure the diesel heater tank is full and also a spare 5ltr container of heating diesel , boots and jumpers , coats and a bottle of nice cognac , as well as the Horlicks

Well I have bought an 8 yard kilt on the assumption it will be warmer than my shorts :)
