Batteries held up well, although we did do a wee trip to Langholm. Our heating was on most of the time and we had been a little worried about how much we would use as this is the first winter in it for us, but all ok on this front too.

Glad the first outing was a success ,well done you

Mine are fine as well. Thanks to a 240v trickle charge, and a good bit of solar surprisingly. Wish I could get them to charge via the Alternator. Goodness only knows what I've cocked up this time. I am a handyman. I'm a man and I live handy ly.

I've changed over from one 110ah to two 135ah (270ah total) every thing looks okay. Everything worked okay before. Fuses seem okay, wiring connections seem okay . I may be able to get some help from a very good friend of these forums. Failing that, it's putting hand into pocket time.
Mum never said life was going to be easy.

Forte? Wasn't that a chain of up market restaurants ? Bit like Greggs.

I got away with the weekend okay but we did well for sun and bright sky at Moffat, I think that’s why. It’s been another decent day in Falkirk today although I got a strange result. My control panel has a button to turn on to the habitation battery bank, when we moved from Falkirk wheel to Kelpies I forgot to switch it on when we parked up again.

Got back to the van and realised when I went to check battery state, had batteries showing 12.6v and starter battery showing 13v.

I am assuming fridge must be permanently running from habitation batteries going from that but why still 13v on starter battery that’s wet lead acid?
