I've only ever had one drive that was level, but this is really horrible to do anything in so I thought I'd check with my spirit level app, the bottom of the picture is towards the front of the van.
If yours has never been that level you're better man than Liz, no way could anyone sleep at that angle. If my van is ever level it’s a complete fluke lol. I don’t worry if it’s level or not so long as I don’t fall over when I stand up. If Mrs ever comes to the van then it’s a different story lol
Doubt it has ever been as level as yours though haha
I am not keen on the bed sloping inwards and need my head higher than my feet but if it’s sloping wrong way I just turn it round. As it’s only me and the dogs in the van I can have my feet at the headboard end if necessary. It’s easier when it’s only to please yourself lolIf yours has never been that level you're better man than Liz, no way could anyone sleep at that angle.
If the feet have to go at the headboard end, Neil, it's much more fun when you have a travelling companion [other than the dogs ...]. Or, as the graffiti said 'I never knew whether VAT 69 was a beverage or a topsy-turvy tax'I am not keen on the bed sloping inwards and need my head higher than my feet but if it’s sloping wrong way I just turn it round. That one is a free one I cut the advert off the pic, I use the bathroom and fridge door as they are opposite, on flat ground the nose is low, and the drain for kitchen and shower needs to be nose high, in my self build I bought a tray with outlets in opposite corners why can't converters do the same and what is wrong with a central kitchen sink drain.I use a Free download Spirit Level App to get more or less level, but also use the Bathroom Door test [if it swings shut, the M/Home is nose up; if it slams shut, it's tail heavy]. We have the drop down bed, and a lack of level can be most uncomfortable!

I'll take a pic next time I go down to the van, there is a wall outside the lounge widow the clearly shows the angle of the dangle.I am not keen on the bed sloping inwards and need my head higher than my feet but if it’s sloping wrong way I just turn it round. That’s what I meant post edited. My fridge still lights at that angle Annie, but it does NOT cool.
Would you not get natural run off if van was on a slope?I learnt the hard way, if my 'Millie' wasn't parked level then puddles formed on the roof which resulted in the rooflights constantly being exposed to sitting water and unfortunately this eventually resulted in the Stixall giving up and letting the water flood in!!
So these days, despite the rooflights all now being 100% watertight, I always park her as level as I can possibly get.
