How level is your van at home

I've only ever had one drive that was level, but this is really horrible to do anything in so I thought I'd check with my spirit level app, the bottom of the picture is towards the front of the van.

If my van is ever level it’s a complete fluke lol. I don’t worry if it’s level or not so long as I don’t fall over when I stand up. If Mrs ever comes to the van then it’s a different story lol

Doubt it has ever been as level as yours though haha

If yours has never been that level you're better man than Liz, no way could anyone sleep at that angle.

I use a Free download Spirit Level App to get more or less level, but also use the Bathroom Door test [if it swings shut, the M/Home is nose up; if it slams shut, it's tail heavy]. We have the drop down bed, and a lack of level can be most uncomfortable!

My van likes to be rear high and
right hand down best position for sinks and drainage fridge works OK on this trajectory and we don't fall out of bed, Our fixed bed runs fore and aft.

I am not keen on the bed sloping inwards and need my head higher than my feet but if it’s sloping wrong way I just turn it round. As it’s only me and the dogs in the van I can have my feet at the headboard end if necessary. It’s easier when it’s only to please yourself lol

If the feet have to go at the headboard end, Neil, it's much more fun when you have a travelling companion [other than the dogs ...]. Or, as the graffiti said 'I never knew whether VAT 69 was a beverage or a topsy-turvy tax' :p

That one is a free one I cut the advert off the pic, I use the bathroom and fridge door as they are opposite, on flat ground the nose is low, and the drain for kitchen and shower needs to be nose high, in my self build I bought a tray with outlets in opposite corners why can't converters do the same and what is wrong with a central kitchen sink drain.

I'll take a pic next time I go down to the van, there is a wall outside the lounge widow the clearly shows the angle of the dangle.

I prefer to be a tad nose down so my head is above my feet when in bed. What bugs me is the shower tray with one central drain as I then need to be more level when showering or there’s a build up at the doorway which then need brushing back to the centre.

We don't sleep in ours at home but we do prefer our heads higher than our feet: however, it's not a deal breaker.
I couldn't, therefore, care less how level it is at home and I'm not that fussed how level it is when we're away.

Having said that, I sometimes park on the ramps at home so that the water runs off the roof BUT that requires making an effort.
Life's too short IMO.

Mine is slight nose down as the rear has h/d springs, beds are across the back, nothing bothers me as I can sleep on the edge of a razor blade, I have even slept outside in 2 ft of snow, courtesy of HMG.

I learnt the hard way, if my 'Millie' wasn't parked level then puddles formed on the roof which resulted in the rooflights constantly being exposed to sitting water and unfortunately this eventually resulted in the Stixall giving up and letting the water flood in!!
So these days, despite the rooflights all now being 100% watertight, I always park her as level as I can possibly get.

I started this thread about how you were parked at home but it's interesting to read about how you like to park when on your jollies.

My drive has a slight slope for water run off but when I’m out and about as long as my fridge stays lit and cools down 😂 it’s fine as for sleeping I just chuck my pillows to the highest end of the bed.

My fridge still lights at that angle Annie, but it does NOT cool.

Would you not get natural run off if van was on a slope?
