How old is your laptop?

I'd delete the cookies, it will for get any passwords for sites you are logged on to but Google (if you use it) and enabled it to remember passwords will log you back in again next time, look in System in Control panel for 32/64 bit info then see what it's like then.

It must be 15 years plus old.
Will no longer connect to the internet…I believe I removed a file I shouldn’t have.
Only now used for a very good accounts program I use for my finances.
Internet…I use an iPad.

Just ordered a replacement battery for my Acer Swift notebook. It is not that old but I used to leave it overnight connected to 230 volts at home. That might have shortened the battery life. I will not Bank online with my phone, it has to be on the laptop for security.

If you Google "which is more secure for banking PC or phone" it seems to be much safer to do it on the phone, I used to do it on the PC before we had phone access but it's just more easier.

Online it is shown how easy to get inside a phones details if using it outside and connected to open wifi or even with b tooth switched on in a crowd when shopping, same can happen with a l top or tablet, hence all my stuff is incripted at home and i only ever used a smart ph for beleave it or not phoning people. 😂
If you do want your monies to be secure then send it all to me, it will be so secure you wont ever get your hands on it again. :)

They may be able to get into the phone and maybe the banking app but the password isn't kept on the phone.

Tis in my head and even I struggle to get anything useful out of there Trev.

My old man was a real Ahole, he would set traps for me, he'd send me to the shop with a whole list of things, only no list, so I forgot stuff, at 5 years old what did he expect, so out would come the belt or worse, by the time I was eight I'd figured out I was going to get some sort of grief so I stopped bothering, I never learned the trick of remembering or learning in general, never did any exams, pointless for me, I'm not thick, I just struggle to learn anything written down, I'm a visual person Monkey see Monkey do it my best way and why I love to watch engineers etc on YouTube.

Thats me to a a T, thick no but fast learner with jobs and tools.

What lap top, do everything on my phone these days 😀
That’s mainly what I do since retiring but if I ever need to edit web pages or do anything with my hosting I get the laptop out. Plus if I needed to use any Office apps it’s so much easier.

My MacBook was bought when I was still working and was needed much more. I also have my old (but much newer than my MacBook) work laptop. Although it has to be 7 years old it is still very quick, I did spec it well at the time though.

I'm rarely off mine during the day if I'm at home, I tend to wrap it up about 5pm usually.

I did use mine quite a bit this spring time for online gaming. The laptop screen is bigger than my iPad and web version more flexible than the app

Online gaming, sounds a bit risky.
