From my son. Today he spend the day with the ministry of traffic on a spot check one English reg was overweight due to carrying a scoter in the back and a tank full of water, the other English reg was that one of his headlights did not work, and his hazard lights not working, so once again watch out if traveling in the Valencia area (y)

We saw them in one of the service areas last year with their portable weighing equipment. When you look at some of the MH's it's not surprising they are attracting attention. One MH parked near us with two bikes on the back and a scooter. I looked at the MH and it had single leaf springs and 15" wheels so well over weight. Will these people never learn that you cannot just keep adding to the payload.

Down in Spain we watched in disbelief as a Belgian family unpacked their caravan. Awning; tent for each child (2); Mattress & sleeping bag etc for each child; tent for dog (large); tent for kitchen & kitchen; toilet tent & toilet; Spare tent to keep stuff in overnight; large Grooming table for dog; table & four chairs; BBQ; large TV; 5 push bikes (dad had mountain bike & racing bike) and a dog trailer.
We had decided that the caravan must have been way, way overweight when out came the last straw..... a complete set of weight lifting equipment!
