I need to find a value for my motorhome, and want to sell privately

I have just put a deposit down on another motorhome, but don’t intend to PX it as I wish to sell it privately. There are so many ‘necessary’ additions to it that should make it very saleable. But I’d like to find out how much it’s worth, and maybe sell on here. IMG_0455.jpegIMG_1645.jpeg

Burstner Nexxo T660, 61 plate, October 2011 but 2012 model. 2.3 and 160bhp manual 6 speed, 56000 miles. Always serviced before it’s ever necessary and in amazing condition, it still drives just like new. The interior is also like new and has been protected by purpose custom covers. I have a large folder of all parts ever fitted, and a detailed log of every time it was worked on. Also I’ve logged all fuel consumption.

The bits fitted I have no intention of removing, as I will buy new for the new MH.

Oyster self seek 85cm satellite dish + Maxview receiver
Avtex TV that fits inside its Burstner compartment
Gaslow 2 x 11kg bottles with external filler
Durite twin rear camera system, reversing and driving
Air rear suspenders
2 x spare WC cassettes. (Very clean!) so 3 total
2 x solar panels 220w , MPPT controller and Battery monitor
4 x 90ah Bosch leisure batteries
B2B charging
Battery monitor
Duvalay bed mattress for the fixed bed
Duvalay mattress for the alternative 3rd bed

(I don’t know if I want to sell it now, just keep it as a spare :ROFLMAO: )

Bleedin squanderer, wind yer neck in I were first.

It is a lovely van Si, and you've kept it so plus added a lot of value including the re-painted cab, it's impossible to value without looking at it.

Did they offer a PX price?

There's plenty of "we'll buy your van" ads in the Club magazines. That would give you a starter or as Pudsey says if you got a PX price, or ask for one.

No, I wouldn’t waste my time asking for a trade in price. The sales manager there knows me and the MH well, knows there’s far too much in the way of goodies to be able to give a sensible value. And obviously it’s 10 years old and not something they’d look to retail. Just thought I’d enquire here and I’ll contact Motorhome Depot as well.

Hopefully only for a price, not to sell it for you.

I wouldn't do that, they have very mixed reviews and will forbid you selling it privately.
You can still sell it privately, but you still have to pay them the £3-4k

OK, evilbay or autotrader I suppose? No, I won’t deliver, no I won’t accept a cheque, no I am not f-stupid

I would deliver and I would take a cheque but wait for clearance.

Ebay is my fave £30 pm for a classified, you can put videos in now and as much text as you like, sell the van and the image works best, and extol the wild camping aspect too.

When I was selling mine I had no idea what to price it at so I took it to the dealer to get a PX amount and then took it to another dealer just as a sell it price then I advertised it at £5,000 more than the average of the 2 and it sold within a week I basically got what I paid for it 6 years earlier.

Good news. How/where did you advertise?
