Iceland Christmas ad banned

Don’t see anything wrong with that just a bit sad and probably too near the truth for gov busy bodies to handle shame it’s got a realy strong message but maybe because it’s cartoon someone thought it was directed at children

How sad, this is a great advert and I think we should all get more "political" when faced with these dreadful situations, yours and my grandkids may never see an Elephant or an Orangutang because of the decimation of their environment, it's "political", so what?

The political bit is that it was actually made by Greenpeace.

That’s interesting I obviously dudn’t Watch it close enough. Such a shame as it is an important message

It was originally made by Greenpeace, but they are not mentioned in the ad; Iceland are using it with their permission. (I dare say a lot of cash incentive came into it).

I don't think it should have been banned - but it's certainly getting an awful lot of exposure anyway!

If Iceland play it right they can get a lot more exposure for another ad as well , as their original ad is going to have more attention paid to it than it would have if not been banned :)

Admittedly they are probably banning palm oil because they think it will be a money spinner but it's a step in the right direction so I don't care too much about their motives. Shame it has been banned.
I also strongly suspect that palm oil has a lot to do with the obesity epidemic. Apparently twice the saturates of butter when cooked...and it's in everything!
