Can't deny I would love one of the US RV 'Coaches' but I know what you mean - some of the exterior paint jobs are incredibly gaudy, and often the customers might pay $60,000 extra for that.
Similar to insides - some as really nice but others are way OTT. I think it is like a "look how much I spent" mentality? When I look at the Morelo Gin Palaces at the NEC, I get the same kind of vibe TBH
Lots of people who buy those like to demonstrate just how much money they paid. I prefer the understated look personally

Sadly the rules for RVs in the states (or some of them) means no MOTs style inspections.
This is the reason that coach was in for repairs.
