Interesting Van

Saw this at the Burnley car show yesterday, think it’s a Renault base.

Renault / Dodge 50 had one for work in 90s a bit of a beast to drive steering wheel the size of a dustbin lid.

looks like a neat conversion of a Luton
front grill badge certainly looks like a Renault Diamond. Bonnet emblem is circular - maybe Talbot for that era? Did Renault and Talbot ever collaborate on a van?

EDIT .. Ah, Renault Dodge Quick search shows popular horsebox base. maybe a Horsebox conversion?

I think it is a very well done selfbuild using a caravan .... but I may be wrong.

And in the rb44 Broughton/Renault version ....
Handled and braked awfully too

Pretty much universally disliked by the military .
