My 2012 ipad could no longer be updated after 6 years. I purchased the most basic model as a replacement and was astounded by how much faster it was. Just over £300.
Mine is a October 2014 build date IPad Air 2 and I have just updated it to the latest software from Apple.
Had to do the update using my MacBook as not enough available storage on the iPad.
Thanks everyone. But as I live abroad and it certainly would not be worth sending it to U.K.for repair I will just use a battery pack.Apple have just said it will no longer be updated so when it dies will get a new one ,not sure if I will stay with IPad or try a change.
