Jumper gearbox problems.

On a long weekend trip last December, on a slight mountain road, my gearbox started making a noise as if I was pulling a trail of cans behind. All the lower gears 2,4 and 6th made much more noise than the upper 1,3 and 5th. Being Saturday and 250km from home, I decided to risk the ride home without calling a tow truck.
Back home, I parked the van under a roof and last week, I finally removed the gearbox. I sent it to a mechanic and yesterday received the news. The 4th gear's teeth stripped. The bad news is that Citroen has changed the design of the primary shaft but abandoned the idea and there are no replacement parts at the dealership. I found a replacement shaft and gear of the original model on a online dealer in France and risked the purchase. I hope I don't lose the 300 euro I've already paid.

I had to change my gear box at 150000 mile as it was making a wright racket in first and second cost me just over 900 quid exchange for Germany

Good news. I was lucky with the parts suppier EuroFrance. It's a Polish company and the part came from there in less than 3 days. I bought the 2015 van in 2020 with 82000km but someone already has repaired the gearbox and modified the double flywheel to simple. Just received the information that it's ready to go back to it's place.
