June 23 adventure.

Spent last night at Lossiemouth, and tonight we're on the Black isle, it is still mega hot, too hot to be in the van so we're sat outside in the shade and a titchy bit of breeze.

Just watched a huge cruise ship pull away for parts unknown to us.
 
Whereabouts are you? We stopped off at Newhall Point last month and found a small place to overnight on the Firth. The cruise ships were docked across the water from us.

Or at least we were til some eejits arrived with boom boom crap.

Quite possibly, I don't take much notice of the floating prison ships, Liz goes on them every year, I wouldn't thank you for a free trip.
 
No Steve about 75 mile nw of there of the A96.
 
We're at our first Highland Games of the year, we really love to come when we get a chance, we much prefer the smaller ones, we've done Braemar and Ballater etc.

Hopefully lots of pipe bands n Scottish dancing.

The very famous bloke lord lieutenant of Aberdeen opened the games welcomed us to the 93rd highland games.

Lords and ladies, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and all the other genders.

The crowd went crazy laughing.
 
Would I be right in guessing the Aberdeen games? Oldmeldum also had their games today which I reckon is a better bet. I try to avoid the larger games but like the smaller ones like Ballater, Strathdon and, best of all, Aboyne. Meet up with a lot of pals and have a good laugh, especially if the beer tent is going well.
 
Yes it was Oldmeldrum, I meant to put that on but sun was making her screen hard to see.
 
I filled up on Aberdeen this morning and bearing in mind I said I don't check the oil as I don't usually keep them this long, so bennet up and it was just on the end of the dipstick, so what oil to get dunno so look on the bonnet sticker, a waste of ink.
