We stayed there a couple of years ago. Thought it an amazing museum and not mentioned in any of our guidebooks. Definitely worth a day visit.

Never knew of this place, we did stay in Anzio for a few weeks on a Winter trip a few years back and there were 2 older fellas who lived in Rome but had permanent chalets who took a shine to my wife and kept bringing her live ammunition they'd find on the beaches, no idea why, the campsite was home to quite a few Irish and British traveller families who over-wintered there.
