Lpg

The Moneysupermarket map has a lot of missing stations. Just had a look around my area and found several that I know of , including Morrisons , that I use not shown. I use the filllpg website and app.

I checked my are and the ones I use on route N S E and west and they are all there I’m not saying it’s the best but anything Martin and his organisation has anything to do with is usually pretty good one up to date.

Strangely enough, our local garage was closed the other day when I went to top up the gas. They were having a tanker delivery.
Anyway Calor Depot was just up the rd and I managed to fill there.
I thought they would refuse, but they didn't

My local Calor centre lets me fill up but it gets very congested down there and Morrisons, Leyland is easier so i go there.

The first time i tried to fill up at Calor they came out, took my registration number, inspected my re-fillable set up then gave me the go ahead.

There is CCTV to see the blind side of vehicles because they regularly get people trying to fill ordinary LPG bottles with adapters bought off Ebay.

I used this map a while ago when we were in Bury St Edmunds ( we visit regularly) unfortunately, 2 garages it shows as in the town dont exist. We had to drive to Thetford to fill up.

I use an app myLPG.eu on the phone and it’s reasonably accurate, although earlier in France it kept showing sites that sold calor type bottles and not pumped lpg. As I was driving away disappointed yet again I spied a sign and filled at an unidentified station. Of course now I’m full I’m passing station after station with lpg , typical innit!

Oh and my local Calor supplier has the cheapest gas I’ve seen for a long while, most places local to me ask between 65 & 70p, they are just 51ppl.

We had the same with my lpg in Scotland the garage it had listed was closed 2 years prior so they are all only as good as the people updating the info.

The filllpg map shows which stations have lpg in stock and latest reported prices. Earlier in the year it was important to know who had stock because around here most of them had run out.
