Mosquito hats

Wondered if anyone could reccomend mosquito hats please. Looking on various sites the prices vary so wondered if cheapies are worth it or is it worth spending a bit extra as the little devils seem to like me. I have Oh so soft on order. Ta in advance

Ya can't make a hat out of mosquitos can ya, blimey it must take millions of them.

Mosquito or midge? For Scottish midge you need a very fine net, far smaller than a mosquito.

Don't bother. Use a deet based anti mos spray. Quite simply, it works.

Just got home after a couple of days away but the last two night we have been plagued by big mosquitoes in the van how they get in beats me but I killed several before turning in and still got bitten . Don’t like sprays or burning candles so wondered if anything else is available?

Deet can be very nasty. Read the labels before you chose to use!

My son went tent camping near Loch Lomond last week and survived one night because of the midges! You need to get the equivalent of a space suit made of mesh to defeat them lol

I don’t find Deet very effective against midges. Cover up and wear a midge hood is what the gardeners in one of the Highland gardens do, so I did the same.

Just stuck some Raid flower stickers on the van windows. Will see how they do. Also been burning coils outside.

I thought this was how some people recovered copper from “salvaged” electrical cable, I didn't realise it was to discourage insects.
