Motorhome Show at NEC In Feb 2022

I think the C&CC have some kind of temporary campsite close with a bus usually, but I believe it is also usually booked up a long time in advance?

Your ticket price includes parking at the NEC Nick, but not overnight.

When you get to the venue Nick, allow extra time for the queue into the car park, maybe 15 - 20 mins, once inside the parking area you will be directed to where all the other motorhomes are parked. On entry to the Show, they will stamp your hand enabling you to return to your vehicle as many times as you like during the day.

Does anyone have a link to buy tickets.

The official NEC website offers tickets online but also pushes you to buy an expensive parking ticket too. The website doesn't say anything about free motorhome parking, nor concessions for disabled carers, OAP's etc.

To be fair, it does say that some shows include parking so the buyer should check before purchasing tickets.
But they could certainly make it both more obvious and also set up a process that automatically removes/includes the car parking option when it is appropriate.

There is a discussion on this on this thread - https://motorhomer.com/threads/nec-show-in-feb-2022.44490/ and I noted subsequently that when starting the process to get a ticket, you do get a line saying "Don’t forget, some shows include standard parking in the ticket price so always check before booking", so that is something,

Got a call today .... Campsite Reservation cancelled Drayton Manor have had to cancel all the grass pitches due to the amount of rain.

So with nowhere to stay and all reasonably nearby sites almost certainly booked up, decided to just stay at home (my dodgy ankle will be thanking me as well )

If anyone is after a ticket for the Friday, I now have one going spare. not sure if they are officially transferrable, but as it is a matter of just scanning the barcode it should be ok, especially as the Covid restrictions in England ref Vaccine passports have been dropped as far as I am aware?

Thought hard about the trek to NEC and an overnight stay and decided to wait until April for the Peterborough Show instead.
