Motorhomer Pony Express.. UK to East Algarve.

It's gone awful quiet around here..
Like when our kids fled the nest...
😁

There's posh, for you..
We're looking at heading east, to Castro Marin, 4 km North of Santo Antonio.
They're having a seafood festival Mon to Thurs.
Very tempting.

Gone very quiet here at Mikkis.
Parked next door to a Morelo Empire Liner...... €300K +
We can’t even afford to speak to them!

Hope you're having a lovely time out there Rog and Chris.
Where's the key to the whisky cabinet..... :p

Finally managed to get rid of The Shabbins today. We sent them off with a wave of the hankie and a tear in our eyes. It’s gone very quiet now, and the dray wagon has taken back the large load they delivered when they heard they were coming. They were jolly good company, and it was a first class surprise when they suddenly turned up out of the blue. They have so much energy and enthusiasm, in fact they are an inspiration to us lesser mortals and we are really going to miss them............ oh, hang on a minute...... the Bar has just opened! Gotta go, Bye!

Well we’re disgusted with the lack of social distancing in that photo. We knew where 3 of us had been for the last few weeks so we were Covid free but we were not sure Roger had not been motorhome hopping with the local young ladies. He was especially helpful with the two young ladies next door who had problems with their waterworks.
What a fabulous 4 days we’ve had with them. Their company made us stay the longest in one place during this trip. Thanks to you both.

Decided to stay here for another week. Too much sun to be soaked up.
We had every intention of leaving today but think we’ll stay until next Monday. Rain expected next weekend, but there’s always the Bar if we want to get soaked!
Great thinking Roger, lol

It looks like you're having a Shirley Valentine moment Roger.
You must be having a great time, let it carry on.
😎😍😁

We feel very safe here, with minimal threat of covid, because it’s quite isolated here. No large crowds but plenty of good conversation. Still warm enough to jump in the pool every day, but best to wrap snugly at night!
Rains are expected, at the weekend, but will worry about that sort of thing when it happens, or indeed IF it happens.
For the time being just soaking up the sun.
