Found this old photo, from back in the day my first camper
van and my eriba caravan, 2.5v6 petrol/lpg powered Bongo, never knew the van was on the back of it,

we were members on bongo fury then here on wildcamping and motorhomer

Our first van was this VW hated it, had a year but got the bug, second van was this demountable loved that it was on a Cortina truck when I first bought it 2 litre automatic , I traded that for a 2 ltre Sierra P100 pick up , loved it but unfortunately we grew out of it so had Caravans for a while enjoyed that period taking Grandsons with us whenever we could .then a EURA MOBILE that had bunk beds so that was ok with the Grandsons too , Hymer tag for 10 years now my Chausson 3.5 tonnes 7 years, where does the time go.we first went to Scotland in our then estate car intending to do B n B or sleep in the car if no B N B available but found B N B easily at that time but on our way round we saw lots of vans parked by the Lochs and I said to my wife that is what I want to do, so there started our story , had some wonderful times in our travels and longing to get going again in the near ?future.

A Toyota Hiace, I rebuilt and mounted pop Up rof on and interior with refrigerator and stove. The fridge connected to electricity and the stove with alcohol (methylated spirit?). The picture is from Jutland in Denmark.
