when lee & i travel we never convoy just see you there in a couple of days but we do have friends tracking on our phones , last night we stopped about 20 mls apart when i got up this morning checked my tyre with the slow puncture to find it had gone down 25 psi i couldn’t change it where i was and didn’t fancy doing it at the side of the road so identified an Auchan en route at orleans & aimed for there luckily lee followed me to help out i’m very lucky he did i thought the wheel was welded on after half an hour we ended up putting the wheel studs back on loosely and driving backwards & forwards to crack it! never known it too be so hard to remove a wheel , 2 hrs later all done but what a job would have really struggled on my own so thanks again lee

Some wheels can be like that and need brute force to remove. I've have a tyre company do the driving about to free the wheel with one of my vans (VWs are particularly bad for that).
If you have a rubber mallet for hitting in tent pegs (awning? windbreaker?) then that can work quite well to free a wheel. hit the tyre just by the edge of the rim, spin it round 180 and repeat. after a few goes it would usually be loose.
 
Even I was tracking you had a look at lunchtime and thought that’s a big shopping centre Jan must be buying in the wine reserve. That being able to track each other has come in handy a few times now think it was you who put us on to it. We should have a big page on here wae all the vans moving all over the place.
 
Don't waste too much money on expensive French booze.
Because of the low tourist numbers, there's plenty of good offers on . Beer especially as it has a shorter shelf life.
I'm doing my best to clear the backlog, but your help is needed.
 
i agree with paul i don’t buy the overpriced french stuff with a few exceptions such as cotes de rhone villages i prefer spanish portugese wines but i prefer heavier full bodied wines
 
we had lunch before moving on first taste this trip of favourite french delights baguette, cristal salted butter, roti de pork as a devine sandwich followed by custard flan if you need more your greedy lol

Copper reacts with alloy and can cause more problems better with high melting point grease.
