Dont do it with alloys, ok on steel, the two metals are too far apart on the galvanic chain, the ally will dissolve as the electrons will flow from alloy to steel taking alloy with it, use a anti fling grease as in motorcycle chain grease.Put some copper slip between the hub and the wheel that will stop them sticking use to do that on my trucks back in the day and still do it now on my cars and the motorhome
Been there a couple of times shows what a sick world we live in , And it's still happen around the worldwe made it to a lovely little village just short of limoges beautiful medieval village moated chateau etc parked on the sq by the village hall beautifully surfaced with a golden latex wish i could afford it on the drive at home , must say if i’d realised how close we were would probably have gone on to the martyrs village at oradur sur glane with its big free aire think it would take a second visit to the site for it all to sink in
I like to know so where are you Del ????Almost as good as sitting in a carpark in central France?
We have friends who lived near Limoges. They told us that it was perfect in the summer, but each winter they shrunk their quarters to a couple of rooms to keep warm.we made it to a lovely little village just short of limoges beautiful medieval village moated chateau etc parked on the sq by the village hall beautifully surfaced with a golden latex wish i could afford it on the drive at home , must say if i’d realised how close we were would probably have gone on to the martyrs village at oradur sur glane with its big free aire think it would take a second visit to the site for it all to sink in

He’s a bit of a star isn’t he ? Fixed my fridge on the banks of the Rhine once.when lee & i travel we never convoy just see you there in a couple of days but we do have friends tracking on our phones , last night we stopped about 20 mls apart when i got up this morning checked my tyre with the slow puncture to find it had gone down 25 psi i couldn’t change it where i was and didn’t fancy doing it at the side of the road so identified an Auchan en route at orleans & aimed for there luckily lee followed me to help out i’m very lucky he did i thought the wheel was welded on after half an hour we ended up putting the wheel studs back on loosely and driving backwards & forwards to crack it! never known it too be so hard to remove a wheel , 2 hrs later all done but what a job would have really struggled on my own so thanks again lee
You can’t blame the Rhine for thatHe’s a bit of a star isn’t he ? Fixed my fridge on the banks of the Rhine once.
Dave thanks. I’ve just read it makes you sick to think of the brutality of that war and how fortunate we were that the Germans never got on our shores .Wully Read this it's a eye opener
