I still haven't found a builder but it's more important for me to design for other people than to have one built for myself.
But I wouldn't mind paying to have one built if nobody else wants to do this.

I wrote to Bailey of Bristol 2 months ago but never heard back from them. They have a video on their website showing a car sitting on top of a caravan so they should have no problem building a two-storey motorhome.

I just added a sunset picture to my website. I took this picture myself here in California about 2 years ago.

I decided to increase its length to 18.7' (5.7 m) so that it can be built on an unshortened Ford Transit chassis with 138" wheelbase and 6,461 lbs. maximum payload.

This also allows the sofa to be made a little longer so that it can be converted into a single bed to give a total sleeping capacity of 10 in four double beds and two single beds.
