Gordon if you need a gas bottle our local recycling centre, if I get the right guy, usually lets me acquire the odd bottle, I've never taken full advantage of this maybe once a year popped in with an empty and exchanged it for a bottle with some gas in it, he's also given me the odd bottle, as a spare, as well, I've not bought camping gas for years, and I've got an underslung tank on my new van so no need for me to acquire any more but don't mind popping in on the odd occasion for a bottle.

Our site takes them but calor charge to pick them up so the guy on site is happy to lose the odd one as long as people are not taking advantage.
